2023 Hearts & Hammers Work Day

Hearts & Hammers is back in May!!  Hearts & Hammers Work Day has been schedule for MAY 20, 2023.  All work will be outside work, rain or shine.  Schedule is from 8am to 5pm.  We will limit work groups to about 10 people per site.  We ask people to bring their own gardening tools as extra tools are limited.  

We will follow any Covid-protocols in effect at that time.  For the mutual respect of and safety considerations for others, regardless of protocols, masks are encouraged for all, especially unvaccinated volunteers standing or working in proximity to volunteers not of the same household.  

We will assemble at the Cross of Christ parking lot (411-156th NE, Bellevue WA 98007) by 8am for pre-work check in, safety instructions, and to pick up safety glasses, gloves, masks and water. 

As a result of an unexpectedly high last-minute rush of unregistered volunteers in 2022,  and in order to avoid "game-time" reorganizing and last-minute assigning, as well as potentially over-staffing of volunteers at some worksites (which might result in a misuse of volunteers' abilities and time),  we will be accepting registration only online, and only until May 15th this year. We appreciate your understanding.
